Tata Nexon – 5 star safety

The compact SUV segment is getting safer day by day. First it was the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza (the Indian spec version) which scored an amazing 4-star rating in the global NCAP test done a few weeks ago proving that the company is concentrating on safety to the haters. But Tata took this challenge to a whole new level and with
Nexon in their hand, secured a five-star rating in adult occupancy and a three-star rating in child safety from global NCAP making it the first car which is completely designed, produced and sold in India to secure a five-star rating. It scored 16.06 points out of 17. One interesting thing to be noted here is that Nexon is the first and only
car in the segment to score a five-star rating yet it is the cheapest car to buy among the compact SUV segment. This car gained attention from people from all parts of the country and many people
congratulated TATA for their great work. This might have a very
good impact in the number of units sold by the company as I
personally see people are talking a lot about this car.
Nexon had a test sometime before as well and it scored 4 stars. Then
people at Tata made some improvements in the vehicle and this
helped them in earning one more star. Based on the X1 platform of
Tata which underpinned the second generation Indica AKA Vista this
car comes with,
 Isofix mount for child seats.
 Park assist.
 ABS with EBD as standard
 Good body.
And much more. Also, this is the car that retained its design from its
prototype which was showcased in the Delhi auto-expo 2016 and Tata
is known for doing this miracle which is seen in the Harrier.
Coming with a 1.2L revotron petrol or a 1.5L revotorq diesel engine it
does perform well. Also, there is an AMT version too.
